Resonate Editorial
Resonate Editorial is the byline for essays published in The Power of Music. It is an institutional voice, not a single person. Pieces are researched, drafted, and edited by the editorial team at Resonate Music School & Studio in Edmonton, Alberta.
How we work
Every named claim is checked against its primary source. Where a study is well-supported, we name the researchers and the year. Where the evidence is mixed or modest, we say so plainly. Each essay closes with a Sources section that links to the primary papers, books, or recordings the piece draws from.
Editorial standards
Essays are written carefully and slowly. We publish two a month, with a monthly letter. Topics span neuroscience, child development, cross-cultural musicianship, music in hard places, and music as a daily tool. We do not chase trends, and we do not publish anything we cannot stand behind.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know. Write to hello@resonatemusic.ca and we will look at it carefully and update the piece with a visible “updated” date if needed.
